Very unfortunate, if seems like they are on all a different page with no real answer, just call this person or ask this nurse or I dont have access, we will call you back its been over a week and noone knows what is going on or no direction other then we’re looking into it. Very sad to have my family in there

Very nice staff and very nice clean facilities. Lucky to have my sister-in-law be there.

Nurse Alexis, Lucy, and Tommy are very friendly and very attentive to my father. They have shown so much support and attention to my dad while he was there. They have been a big part to my father’s recovery. I want to give them a big shot out to them and give them a big thank you from the bottom of heart to know that my dad was in good hands when I was not able to be there. Thank you again to the faculty for all they have done!!

Charge Nurse Daniel is professional, conscientious & answered my questions. I appreciate him and the staff. Podiatrist Dr. Clark is also the same. I appreciate him as well. He answered all my questions and interacted well with professionalism. Thank you, Balboa Nursing Staff! I’m relatively new at posting. So when I went to the online site to post today’s visit results, another post had already generated and when I selected “POST” I thought I’d be able to add the above one I just wrote, but the app sent a negative post already instead. I re-entered the site and was able to post the positive, complimentary one.

Today at Balboa nursing care facility and rehab center the activities department organize a walk to Balboa Park for a picnic. I joined the walk and the staff member who pushed my husband in the wheelchair a couple of blocks over to Balboa Park. It was a very amazing activity, where we listen to music we all probably knew, or given lunches that were appropriate for each resident and their dietary needs, we played several games of bingo, and the picnic was enjoyed by all. I am sure. I feel fortunate that I was able to take the time out of my busy day to come and be with my husband and the other residence who joined in. The lunch was off the charts and the care that they give To each person is commendable. I feel blessed that my husband is here at Balboa. Thank you.

Most of all the workers are good, but Maria Martinez is the best caregiver, she,s amazing the way she treats people. My nephew is still there after stroke , and Maria makes more easy to handle the difficult time.

Loren is my occupational therapist and I think she is awesome.She always challenges me to my best.

Everyone was very friendly and resourceful.

Understaffed,and negligent in care. My mother was at Balboa for 3 days and she declined significantly within that short period. My mother’s oxygen had dropped and she was irresponsive when I went for a late afternoon visit. Not one nurse or CNA had noticed her condition until I brought attention to it. At this point they rushed in with oxygen and called an ambulance to send her out to a hospital.

The care given to patients is great and they interact with them to make them feel comfortable as we know everyone wants to be home but these employees deserve more 🙏

This facility is staffed with the kindest, knowledgeable people in the business. From the minute my uncle was admitted the staff were kind, patient and caring. I was especially impressed with our case worker KoKo Mohammad and Lander Ramirez in Accounting. You are in very good hands at Balboa Nursing care. You can’t put a price on peace of mind… Thank You!

This place IS HORRIBLE !! They do not care about the patients there. My grandmother has been there for a week and they have not bathed her since. They act like they dont want to work there. TRASH

Very empress with the facility and the excellent care this staff provide the patient.

I picked a good time to visit a patient there.
